Communication and Membership Committee
OBJECTIVES AND ROLE
In general, the mission of the Communication and Membership committee is to oversee the general communication of the association either toward its members or towards general public and commercial partners. It consists also in finding ways to refresh and modernise the association’s branding and communication strategy.

Communications’ Aims and Objectives
To create harmony in the association’s communication strategy.
Its objective is to make the association recognizable through ways of communicating with clinicians and researchers, whether they are members or not.
In addition, the Committee is in charge of identifying and supplying significant news stories for the website and social media on a monthly basis. The stories written are not only drawn from the field of implant dentistry, but also include related scientific and general interest topics that are likely to be of interest to EAO members.
Online Aims and Objectives
To implement a social media strategy for the EAO through the association’s Facebook and Twitter pages and to help attract followers by supplying considerable scientific and research related content to be shared with EAO members – and non-members who follow these pages.

Congress Scientific Report subcommittee
Objective and Role
The subcommittee’s mission is to write a report on the main sessions of the annual scientific meeting, in order to circulate it to participants and EAO members who could not attend (with the confirmation of the Board of Directors, it could become a membership benefit).

Aims and Objectives
To be able to hire enough members in the subcommittee in order to cover all important sessions; to have a written report on all the sessions of the congress – this is not the case today.
Ambassadors subcommittee
Objective and Role
To promote the EAO in key countries/ regions by recruiting local ambassadors (influencers in their own country).
