Payment terms and conditions


Please note that the EAO membership is payable on an annual basis. It is automatically renewed by default (by credit card or bank transfer SEPA) at the end of each year.

VAT is applied automatically based on your location and whether or not you have a VAT number, please provide this information at the time of joining online, before your payment is processed.

An invoice, including VAT details is provided to all members by email at the time of joining, if you have not received it, you can download it via your member area online.

Over 65: reserved for members over 65 years of age, a copy of your ID will be required

Students: reserved for members who are enrolled in full time education, a proof of your student status will be requested.

Young Professionals: reserved for professional members who have graduated less than 5 years ago, a proof of your graduation date will be required.

Cancelling the Automatic Renewal: simply send an email to before December 15th indicating that you do not wish to renew. You may also do this by unticking the “automatic renewal” box on your profile in the member area.

Payment by SEPA Direct debit:
By providing your IBAN and confirming this payment, you are authorizing the EAO and Stripe, its payment service provider, to send instructions to your bank to debit your account for the payment of your EAO membership and/or other EAO services. 

Please note that should you not authorise the payment, you are entitled to a refund from your bank under the terms and conditions of your agreement with your bank. Such a refund must be claimed within 8 weeks starting from the date on which your account was debited.
