Gold medal for outstanding contribution to the field of implant dentistry
In September 2019, Prof Mariano Sanz was awarded with a gold medal in recognition
for his “outstanding contribution to the field of implant dentistry”.
In September 2015, Prof Jan Lindhe was awarded with a gold medal in recognition
for his “outstanding contribution to the field of implant dentistry”.
Gold medal for the exceptional service to the EAO
In October 2018, Dr Björn Klinge was presented with a gold medal in recognition
for his “outstanding service” to the EAO. Dr Klinge was EAO President between
2014 and 2016.
In September 2016, Dr Pascal Valentini was presented with a gold medal in
recognition for his “outstanding service” to the EAO. Dr Valentini was EAO
President between 2012 and 2014.
In September 2014, Prof Soren Schou was presented with a gold medal in
recognition for his “outstanding service” to the EAO. Prof Schou had acted as EAO
President between 2011 and 2012 and was also Chair of the Copenhagen Annual
Meeting in 2012. Amongst many other things, he was responsible for overseeing
important changes to the Association’s Statutes in 2012.
Silver medal for dedicated service to the EAO
In September 2019, Prof Gil Alcoforado and Dr Susana Noronha were awarded with a silver medal in recognition for their “services to the EAO” as chairs of the 28th annual scientific meeting in Paris
In September 2018, Profs Ronald Jung, Georg Mailath Pokorny and Michael Payer were awarded with a silver medal in recognition for their “services to the EAO” as chairs of the 27th annual scientific meeting in Paris
In October 2017, during the annual congress in Madrid, Prof Alberto Sicilia, Prof Jaime A. Gil, Dr Mariano Sanz, Dr Nacho Rodriguez and Prof Jaume Llena were awarded with a silver medal in recognition for their “services to the EAO” as co-chairs of the EAO-SEPES joint meeting 2017.
In September 2016, Dr David Nisand and Dr Franck Renouard were awarded with a silver medal in recognition for their “services to the EAO” as chairs of the 25th annual scientific meeting in Paris
In September 2015, Prof Bjorn Klinge and Prof Ann Wennerberg were awarded with a silver medal in recognition for their “services to the EAO” as chairs of the 24th annual scientific meeting in Stockholm
