Dr. José Manuel Navarro received a Certificate in Periodontology and Implant dentistry after completing a 3-year program at New York University College of Dentistry (Chairman Dennis Tarnow). He was also awarded a Master of Science degree in Biomaterials from NYUCD for his research on high strength ceramics (Chairman Van Thompson). Dr. Navarro has received awards for his research from different societies, including the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) best presentation award and the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) Research Award. He has co- authored several peer- reviewed publications and book chapters and is Co-Editor of the book “High Strength Ceramics”.  Dr. Navarro is Section Editor for Clinical Concepts of the The International Journal of Oral Implantology (IJOI), is on the editorial board of the European Journal of Esthetic Dentistry (EJED) and is Editor-in-Chief of Quintessence International in Spanish. He is past chairman of the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO) Junior Committee and was elected member of the EAO board of Directors in 2021. Dr. Navarro is a visiting faculty at different universities and maintains a private practice focused on periodontics, prosthodontics and implant dentistry in Las Palmas, Spain and in London.

Actually he is supporting as speaker & KOL to Biohorizons dental co., SprintRay and SHINNING3D. He is pioneer on Guided Surgery and CAD/CAM dentistry. Dr. Gustavo Avila-Ortiz obtained a DDS degree and completed a PhD training program at the University of Granada (Spain), before moving to Ann Arbor (USA) where he graduated with a MS degree and a Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Michigan. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a former faculty member at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where he was the Chair of the Department of Periodontics until 2022. He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Avila-Ortiz has authored more than 100 articles published in peer-reviewed journals and numerous book chapters. He is the co-author of the book “TISSUES: Critical Issue in Periodontics and Implant-Related Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery”, which has been critically acclaimed within the profession. Dr. Avila-Ortiz is currently a Visiting Professor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and a member of Atelier Dental Madrid, a center for dental excellence where he maintains a private practice limited to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Fickl received his dental degree from Erlangen University, Germany in 2003 and completed his postgraduate training in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry in Munich, Germany in 2007. From 2007 to 2009 he served as a Faculty Member at the Department of Peridontology and Implant Dentistry (Chair: Dr. Dennis Tarnow) at New York University, New York, United States. He then joined Würzburg University, Germany, where he received his PhD in 2011 and since then serves as an Associate Professor for Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Fickl maintains at the same time a private office in Nuremberg-Fuerth, Germany dedicated to periodontics, implant dentistry and esthetics. Dr. Fickl is Fellow of the ITI, international speaker in the field of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry and author of numerous scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.

He is partner of the Academy of oral Implantology Vienna and has a private practice in Purkersdorf. He is specialized in prosthodontics and digital dentistry and he is doing his PhD in this field of interest. He has won in 2016 the price of the best poster presentation at the EAO Congress in Paris. In 2017 in Madrid and 2020 he has won the price for the best clinical video at the EAO Congresses. He is a speaker at many national and international congresses and training courses and since 2020 he is director of the ITI Studyclub Vienna.

Luis Grisolia is born in Guatemala city, Guatemala.  He obtained my DDS degree at Universidad Francisco Marroquin 2004 after he studied at New York University to obtain his degree in Prosthodontics in 2008. After his academic studies,  he opens a private practice in Guatemala city Denti Vitale www.dentivitale.com, also he works in a private university Universidad Francisco Marroquin as a Vice Dean and Director of Postgraduate program  www.odontologia.ufm.edu

He collaborates with many international organizations as a president for Guatemala and Central America of IACD International Academy of Contemporary Dentistry and he is the regent for Central America of International College of Dentistry

Professor Ui-Won Jung, who is an EAO ambassador Korea, is working at the department of periodontology, Yonsei University College of Dentistry, Seoul, South Korea. He is involved with implant and periodontology related academic associations in Korea, and also actively working at the ITI section Korea as an education delegate and at the osteology foundation as an expert council member. He was the vice director at the Yonsei University dental hospital with greater focus on research and education. His field of research comprises clinical and preclinical research in implantology and oral regeneration. He has authored over 200 publications in international peer reviewed journals, and won the Andre Schroeder Research Prize in 2018, 2019 and 2021. He is running CE courses for domestic and foreign dentists on the same topics and is also actively participating in many international symposia as an international speaker.

Dr. Lanis serves as Director of Advanced Graduate Education in Implant Dentistry at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, USA.  He graduated from University of Valparaiso, Chile in 2008 and completed a three-year residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Implantology at the University of Chile in Santiago. Additionally, he has an advanced diploma in Marketing and Health Administration from University of Chile School of Business and an advanced certification in Medical Education from Catholic University of Chile School of Medicine. In 2013, he moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan to participate as an Implant Scholar in the Periodontics and Oral Medicine Department at University of Michigan School of Dentistry. During his career he has been specially dedicated to the practice of advanced prosthodontics, oral implantology and digital dentistry.
Dr. Lanis is a recognized international lecturer in digital dentistry, oral implantology, esthetics and prosthodontics. He is fellow of the International Team for Implantology where he serves in the Global Education Committee and member of the European Association for Osseointegration, the International College of Prosthodontics and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has published several scientific articles in specialized journals and books and has collaborated as a scientific advisor with different dental implant companies worldwide.

Dr. Takanori Suzuki received his Bachelor of DDS in 2000. In 2004, Dr. Suzuki obtained his Doctorate PhD of Operative Dentistry also at Nippon Dental University. He then taught at the Nippon Dental University in the Department of Operative Dentistry as an Assistant Professor from 2004 to 2008.
In 2009, Dr. Suzuki received a Certificate in Periodontology and Implant dentistry after completing a 2-year program and 1-year fellow ship program at New York University College of Dentistry After his Fellowship program, he became as a Visiting Clinical Instructor in 2012 then Clinical Assistant Professor in 2013 to present. He moved to Tokyo in 2019 then he founded a company and working as implantologist.
Dr. Suzuki has published more than 20 scientific articles in the IJPRD, Implant Dentistry and Compendium. He is an international lecturer at many meetings in various countries. He is currently part-time faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University College of Dentistry, Ashman Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry.

Dr Swart received his dental and master’s degree MFOS (Cum Laude) from Stellenbosch University, Cape Town, South Africa. He has been in private practice in Cape Town since 1995, focusing on advanced dental implant treatments. He serves on the ambassador’s board of the EAO. He is a Senior fellow of the ITI, accepted as a Fellow in 2003 and serves on the faculty of gIDE. He has lectured extensively globally and published both nationally and internationally. He received Merit Awards for his contributions to implantology and dentistry from the South African Society for Dental Implantology in 2008 and 2012 as well as the Special premier award and Special service award by the South African Dental Association in 2022.
