Robert Haas (Austria)
Chair
He owns a private practice in Stockerau and Vienna / Austria and is founding member of the Academy of Implantology Vienna. He made his PhD at the Dental University of Vienna in 1998 and in 2010 he was awarded the title “University Professor” by the Austrian Ministry of Science. Robert Haas is a cofounding member of the Austrian Society of Implantology and past vice president and past president.

Iva Milinkovic (Serbia)

Iva Milinkovic is the Assistant Professor at the Department of Periodontology and Oral Medicine and Implant center, School of Dental Medicine, University of Belgrade. She defended her PhD thesis in 2011, and completed a residency program in 2014. She was recipient of ITI Scholarship at the Eastman Dental Hospital in Rome, Italy, under mentorship of Dr. Luca Cordaro.

Nadja Nänni (Switzerland)

Nadja Naenni holds a specialist degree in reconstructive dentistry and a Master in Oral Implantology from the University of Zurich. In 2021 she was awared the ‘Venia Legendi’ (PD) from the University of Zurich. Since 2013, she is a full-time Senior Research and Teaching Assistant at the above clinic in Zurich, Switzerland (Prof. Ronald Jung) and spent one year (2017) in Malmö and Gothenburg as a guest researcher (Prof Ann Wennerberg).

Clinician, scientist, and lecturer, Mario Romandini is an Associate Professor in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the University of Oslo (Norway). He is currently also Co-Director of the EFP-accredited Program in Periodontology at the same institution. Starting from January 2024, he will serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Periodontal Research.

From 2019, she is a member of the Congress Committee of the EAO. She has been a team member of the Scientific Committee of the EAO Annual Conferences in 2020. and 2022.
Dr. Milinkovic is Section Editor of the International Journal of Prosthodontics (IJP) and Editorial Board member of the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry (JERD). She is the author and co-author of more than 15 scientific papers. Her main interests are periodontology and oral implantology.

Amit is also the president of the Association of Dental Implantology.

Giovanni Zucchelli (Italy)

Giovanni Zucchelli DDS., Ph.D., Professor and Chair of the Department of Periodontics at the University of Bologna School of Dentistry. He received his DDS in Dentistry and his Ph.D. in Medical Biotechnology from Bologna University. Since 2000 Professor Zucchelli has been a faculty member at Bologna University Dental School and Coordinator of the Dental Hygiene degree. He has also served as a Visiting Professor at the University of Milan San Raffaele Dental School and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Since 2017 he has been the Director of the postgraduate Master courses in “Soft tissue management around teeth and implants” and “Periodontology and implantology.” He is a past president of the Italian Association of Osteointegration. Currently, he is an active member of the Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology, a member of the expert council of the Osteology Foundation, and an ITI fellow. He is a member of the board of several scientific journals and has published over 140 peer-reviewed articles in soft tissue management. He also published two books regarding this topic and several chapter books. He was appointed by the “Edward Bud Tarson” prize by the AAP Foundation, the “J. George Coslet” prize by Penn University, and Honorary membership of the American Academy of Periodontology. In 2023 he received the Honorary Degree from Buenos Aires University. He is an international lecturer and maintains a private practice in Bologna limited to Periodontology and Implantology.

In 2023, he was awarded the IAO Brånemark Prize for Clinical Excellence.
With an extensive publication record in top-ranked journals, he currently also serves as an Editorial Board member of Clinical Oral Implants Research and the Journal of Clinical Periodontology.
