EAO Focused Training

Master the art and science of soft tissue management with three of implant dentistry’s most respected clinicians.

Taking place over three days in Lisbon, the EAO Focused Training on Soft Tissue Management offers an exceptional opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills through an intensive programme of expert-led lectures and hands-on workshops. Guided by Markus Hürzeler, Oscar Gonzalez Martin and Giovanni Zucchelli, participants will explore soft tissue management from surgical, restorative and peri-implant perspectives, gaining practical techniques grounded in the latest scientific evidence.

Combining high-level education with interactive practical training, the EAO Focused Training series is designed for clinicians who want to elevate their expertise, improve treatment outcomes and learn directly from internationally recognised leaders in implant dentistry.

11:30 – 12:30 – Soft tissue management in the esthetic zone for dental implants with missing bone

13:30 – 15:30 – Hands-on: Harvesting autogenous connective tissue
a) tuberosity graft (new thoughts)
b) subepithelium connective tissue graft (single incision)

15:30 – 17:30 – Hands-On: Peninsular flap in combination with tunneling and saloon door technique a new way of soft tissue management with dental implants in the esthetic zone

Day two – Programme

8:30 – 10:00 – Essential principles of implant therapy and provisionalization in the esthetic zone + Foundational principles and clinical applications – Soft tissue management around implants

11:00 – 12:00 – Decision Tree for the Management of Complex Cases in the Aesthetic Zone: Ortho-Perio-Implant therapy

10:30 – 11:30 – Keratinized tissue height and soft tissue thickness in the prevention and treatment of gingival recession around implants

11:30 – 12:30 – Increase in soft tissue thickness during immediate/delayed implant placement

13:30 – 15:30 – Hands-on: Coronally Advanced Flap for single/mutiple gingival recessions/Mucosal dehiscences

15:30 – 17:30 – Hands-on: Keratinized mucosa augmentation around dental implants
